Our company, ACHALA, is dedicated to ‘cosmetics for the future’.
Our bodies recognise natural substances. Our skin can immediately sense whether something is industrially manufactured or genuinely handmade, and whether plants have been harvested with love and respect for nature. That is why we work exclusively with pure essences from unspoilt nature.
Our raw materials are:
- We carefully harvest the wild herbs from the Vermio Mountains by hand. Wild plants possess great healing power, as they choose their own location and thrive without human influence.
- Olive oil, cold-pressed, organic and from the Panajota region, where I helped with the olive harvest. It meets all the requirements for an allergy-free olive oil and prevents skin irritation as well as the absorption of chemicals.
- Beeswax of the purest quality from local beekeeper Dimos
- Grape distillate from organic winegrower Kostis in Naoussa, Greece’s finest red wine region.
- Organic essential oils, mostly from the region, which I use very sparingly as I know exactly how many plant parts are needed for a single drop.
- Cold-stirred shea butter and pesticide-free lanolin for the day cream, supplied by Michael from Germany.
ACHALA herbal cosmetics, herbal oils & ointments: We harvest only specific parts of the plants – sustainable harvesting. ACHALA products are characterised by careful maceration (extraction using herbs and olive oil) carried out on-site, gentle hand processing and the use of organic ingredients. They are ideal for babies, toddlers, allergy sufferers and vegans, particularly due to the deliberate avoidance of harmful substances. The jars and ampoules are made from recyclable glass.

- Organic: DEMETER certification is being sought.
